This is simply a link back to the main page of this website, because for this first project I tried to show off all of my new found knowledge on HTML and CSS from this class to actually create my website!
The 3 pages of my website that are being used for this project are the homepage, the page about the trip to Charleston, and one of my favorite things to talk about, Hatsune Miku. Going through this assignment was relatively easy in terms of the coding for me, because of my background in computer science. That said I still had some struggles that I haven't even been able to fully work out. For example, I was having some trouble with image sizing and flexboxes. my fix wasn't the best, as there are still some issues, but with the tools I have at the moment and the fact that I have no prior website development knowledge, I think I've done a fairly decent job. I was also especially frustrated by the image gallery of my trip, because typing in each of those 'img' tags was monotonous. I am quite proud of my usage of flexboxes, too, as this was a completely new topic to me as of just a few days ago, but I feel as though I made fairly good use out of it.
This project was a bit more challenging for me, as I had to learn some JavaScript in order to complete it. I had a lot of fun with this project, though, and I think that the final product is pretty good! I am especially proud of my usage of the API, as I had never used one before this assignment.
